are made to blush that such things belong to your race here you behold the children of the wretched mother rolling in filth and ignorance with misery depicted in their Countenance - and the enquiry arises - why dos a mercyfull and wise Providence permitt such wo and wretchedness to exist on earth Such is life in a City - they may boast of the pecular advantages of living in a City - but give me the Country - the open Country - where nature blooms forth in all her beauty - where the breath of Heaven is wafted on evry breeze - yes - Let pride display his gems of art And boast his Lordly towers The pure and loving hart sees Angles in the flowrs Well Suse I have no news to write it is verry lonesorn in Camp - the regiment is gon - and we have nothing to brake
