Mix salt & egg & then pour hot milk slowly - put back in boiler & cook until thick Floating Island 1 Egg spk. salt 1/2 c. milk 10 drops vanilla 1 tbsp. sugar after custard is cooled then beat eggs stiff & beat until glossy 1 gram Protein = 4 calories of heat 1 " carb. = 4 " " " 1 " Fat = 8.9 " " ' ' 1 cal. will raise a lb. water 4 degrees F.
