Butter Scotch 1 c. molasses 1 c. sugar 1/2 c. butter Boil until it will harden in water; then pour on buttered dishes & cut in squares. Rock & Rye for a Cough. 1 pt. whiskey 1/2 lb. rock candy 1/2 pt. glycerine Mix well & bottle. Dose: tbsp when cough is troublesome
