the Rebel works (our men having turned them last night) to face north, our Corps being left in rear with train. Atlanta reported, through Hd Qrs, to be evacuated last night Heavy firing and explosions were heard there nearly all night. At 6 P.M. our Division, moved out South east one mile and threw up a line of works in the night, fronting nor-E, Logans army is [harrying?] in the enemy's rear, south of Jonesboro.
