Somebody fighting the enemy south-west supposed to be the army of the Tennessee, 8 Our camp is near Pine Mountain. the place where Gen Polk was killed. Lay still until 3 PM. then moved out bag & baggage on to the Ackworth road between Lost and Pine mountain, and moved North some 7 miles. going on quick time, until 8 PM then camped in a beautiful spot.
