Gen Thomas with his 30 000 at Rome and that we are hurrying through to his relief 23" Corps left here yesterday morning. Trains are running troops through as fast as they can. 11th Started at 8 1/2 and made good time until noon then halted & got dinner and held our election, Reached Kingston at 7 P.M. and camped 1 1/2 miles west having marched 14 miles. All tired.
