destroyed on last sunday & monday 22 Rebel cavalry were brought in today by the 1st O.V.C., Walker seems bound to make himself a nuisance to the Brigade The boys nearly all hate him bitterly (Vertically, at left:-) The 1st O V C going for the rebels 4th Were called up at 3 this morning and formed in line of battle with the rest of brigade 4th and compeled to stand till daylight The men are all disgusted with this mode of doing business This is a standing order of Buell's Rec'd marching orders at 8 A.M, Got on the road and passed through Shepherdsville, and over a very rough country Halted 12 miles from S - Rain during the day
