Friday 12 Was a splendid night for picket, no alarms Were relieved at 3 by 82nd Ind Supposed our reg't had moved to our former camp west of G - but had to go to our old camp which caused a good deal of swearing among the boys Steadmans brigade moved to Pilot Knob relieving the 38th Our brigade is now to be concentrated at G - and may remain there all winter Sat 13th At 8 struck tents and move 1 1/2 miles west of Gallatin near our former camp Much neater camp
