the 2" Div in camp after going 2 miles and halted for dinner, As we started out one of the 82" Ind was instantly killed by accident Our Brig turned off south and cut across the country 2 miles pitched on to the R R running from Columbia to --- and tore it up for a mile. The R R follows the river bank up, and a very substantial road, Our Div tore up 3 m-- burning a very large bridg,. This road is famous for the am't of produce that is run over it to all points east. the greatest grain county in S C, being along it and at its terminus Days march 7 miles
