(Added note at head of page:-) 3rd brig got to F to late to participate the forenoon, The force at F finished up the rebels at 10 this morning, 6th. At 2 P.M. we rec'd orders to march to Nashville with one days rations. Got off at 4 and camped at Concord Church 10 miles from Triune Steedman in command 7 Marched to within 12 miles of N. and waited until 4 P.M. for our train. Marched with train, and reached camp at 10 P.M.
