12 Mustering officer in camp. 13 The dull routine of camp life rather short of rations and the citizens who were plundered by our starved boys are issued rations They come in by squads and get their allowance. A portion of our rations were kept back to pay for our depredations 14 Dull times, with little to eat. Drew 5 days rations which put us in a good humor This date brings an end this book, Since I began the first date (Jan 27th) we have seen some rugged times and again most excellent times But it is thus with all soldiers, Alternate fasting & starving, enjoyment &
