Halloween Party Addie Murphy, a club member entertained, our club Leader and members at her home on Halloween night. A crowd of twenty young people assemblied. We had an enjoyable games such as, "Fortune telling" "Contests" and "Wading down the River." The most fun about this party was that it was a masqurade party, everyone dressed queer and the best and oldest dressed person won a prize. Then delicious refreshments of pumpkin pie, doughnuts, and cocoa was served by the hostess. Everyone enjoyed themselves immensely. Invitation sample: (Jack o'lantern) "The Pumpkin House is shining bright, To Celebrate a festive nite. So come and join us - 'tis Hallowe'en, And see some sights you've never seen." Time - Oct. 26 8:00 o'clock Place - Addie Murphey's Guests are requested to come in costume.
