Helen Grundman Prescott, Iowa Community. My father would drive here and there to get every known tree that grew in the county. Among those we have are the following: The hard, soft and sugar maples, boxelders, caltalpas, hickory, walnut, cedar, elm, poplars, cottonwoods, oak, willow, red cedar, norway spruce, jack pine, and blue spruce. As our house faces the west we do not have only a few ornamental trees on the west side, but have a row of elms and a row of cedars for our drive ways, south of the house. Another thing they did was very profitable was, on the inside row on the east side, making a north east shelterbelt. About fifteen years ago
