May 16, 1882. Tuesday. We have had a splendid time all day. Before school and at recess we played "drop the hd'kchf." At noon we established a P.O. It will be open every day at half past twelve o'clock. I am post-mistress. We began today to study about Africa. It is very hard B tgmfoeje ebz! Wednesday. May 17, 1882. Today has been another of the splendid ones. We have had lots of fun. We played at P.O. again today. I had a good geography lesson and so did the rest. We all feel so much better when we have good lessons. I saw the prettiest bird I ever saw It was a bright red with brown tail & wings. I never saw one before. Isbduydf nbmft qfs fdu.
