Nov. 9 1915 City Federation of Women's Clubs met Nov. 9. Mrs Christie presiding. Eleven clubs answered roll call. Minutes of last meeting read and approved. Business was dropped, as Mrs. C.C. Loomis of Cedar Rapids, County Ch. of Woman's Suffrage League, and Mrs. Dodson, at the head of the state movement for equal suffrage, came at this time. Mrs. Dodson gave a very interesting talk on the need of equal suffrage, and urged the women to take immediate action, as the question of Women's Suffrage is to be voted upon June 5, 1916. Mrs. Loomis then urged the Federation to form a league to assist in the campaign, each woman to pay $1.00 Mrs. Effie Parsons move, Mrs. Owen second, that the question of forming a league be carried to the different clubs by the delegates, and a report made at the
