26 Mrs Max Mayer gave a spirited and interesting account of the activities of the Iowa delegation at Cleveland and a general account of work accomplished at the National Convention. Dr. Zella White Stuart moves that a committee of three be appointed by the Chairman to consider the question of employing an organizer of experience and ability from outside the state. seconded - carried. Dr. [illegible] - a citizen [illegible] choice-gave council and an outside view of the League of Women votes. It is rather wholesome to see our selves as ithers see us. The enthusiasm of women sometimes makes men discount their courage and tenacity of purpose. Let us resolve that enthusiasm - courage and tenacity of purpose are qualities with which the League is richly endowed. M. Bertha Van Alstine
