I. Organization of the "Charles City Political Equality Club." At a meeting called for the purpose, Nov. 7th, 1891, at the residence of L. Lane, a Charles City Political Equality Club was organized, with a membership of eighteen (18) consisting of Mesdames Balch, Barney, Fisher, Sampson, Littell, Chamberlain, McKallor, Nyr, [Renningan?], Wood, Miner, Boulton, North, Griswold, Hemlaud, Lane, and Misses Allison and Mahana. The following constitution was adopted: Article I. This organization shall be called the Charles City Political Equality Club. Article II.
