1 pt. buckwheat flour 2 tablespoonfuls yeast 3 " wheat flour 2 " corn meal Mix with warm water into a stiff batter & set in a warm place to rise. Mix at night. In the morning, stir in 1/2 teaspoonful soda dissolved in a cup of fresh milk. Thin if necessary. Salt to taste
