62 To Heal a burn without a Scar Take Golden Saxafrage w'ch shou'd be pull'd in March or April & Hog's grease, [bath?] [ye?] part & dip a fine rag & lay upon it. Virgins wax and Sweet Oyl is good for the same. 63 To Forward Labour The Gall and Liver of an Eel dry it and beat it to powder Sift it and drink in any thing you like 64 Syrrup of Saffron To a quar: of an oz: of safron, put half a pint of aniseed water Steep it two Months, then strain it hard out & put to it half a pint of Burrage or Angelico water & boyl it to a syrrup 65 All sorts of syrrups To any [Juice?] a pound of sugar to a pint of [Juice?] being made Double, melt ye Sugar in a Skillet; boyl & skim it To flowers or herbs, pick & cut em & stamp em, & to 4 oz of either, put [3?] oz: of water, boyl 'em in a double pot 4 hours, [yn?] strain em out & weigh ye [Juice?], take ye same Weight in Sugar melt it down in ye same pot & it will [Shin?]
