The Same another way Pound Anchovies a q:t Claret or white wine, put into a stew pan, 1 nutmeg sliced cloves mace lemon Peel, horse Redish Sharelot, thicken it w:th crams of bread to a thin cream, w:n the anchovies are difsolved, strain it of & put to it a moderate quant:y of mushroom liquor w:ch is drawn of w:th salt in a sauce pan boyl'd & scum'd & give it a good boyl alltogether 94. The Angel Salve Three oz: Rosin 2 oz Virgins wax Frankinsence 2 oz: 1 oz Mastick 4 oz Deer Suet, 2 Drams Camphire, beat the Rosin Mastick Frankinsence together in a mortar to a fine powder then melt the wax & suet together well & then put in the Powders to melt Then strain it thro' a fine cloth into 2 quarts of white white or good Syder & boyl it together, till its somewhat thick then put in the Camphire & 4 oz: Venice Turpentine Drop by Drop, stir it till tis quite cold & make it into Rowls, it cures any Fistula if Curable, its good for any wound old or fresh sore it cures any filth in the flesh in 9 days more than other does in a month, it hinders dead flesh, tis good for a pain in the head if you rub the temple w:th it tis good for any inflammation in the face it strengthens sineses that are weak & wax'd dry, it draws [rust?] out of the flesh or venom or bite of a mad dog it cures Felons, tis good for Bloody Flux by ointing the belly it helps all pains or stiches Blaines strains or Wrenches it cures the piles
