PLague Water Take Egrimony, Avons, Voriorig, Cabious, Burnot, Mayweed, Cinquefoil, Rue, Sage, Pimpernell, Sixifrage, Salindine [feather?], few mugworth, Wormwood, Rosa Solis, Mother Thime, Mint, Carduus, Angelico, [Formentall?], Wood Sorrell, Balm, Peney Royall, Mary Gold flowers, [illegible], Camimile, Buglass, Pellitary of the Wall, Elicampane roots dryed, Hysop, MedowSweet, of Each [3?] quarters of a pound, and a pound and half of Rosemary, when they are mixed and [Shread?], put Them into an Earthern pott, with as much Cannary and White Wine as will Cover them, and let them Stand all night, Still the next day in a cold Still. Stop your Still very close in the middle of June is the Best time to Still it mix it in a broad pan, Sweeten it with double refin'd Sugar. Aqua Mrabilis Take [Cabills?], Gallingall, Mileott flowers, [illegible] Mace, Nut=Meg, of each one dram, of the flowers of thime and Lavendar, of each one dram, Cinammon 2 drams, Cowslipe, Rosemary, Birrage, Buglass, [illegible] Sage, Mary Gold, Gilly flowers, [illegible] flowers, of each 2 drams of the Juice of [Pallirdine?], and a quart of the [best?] Canary, and 3 pints of Angelico water, half a pint of Rosewater, bruise the Spice and flowers, and Steep them in the Liquor oneNight, next day distill them in a cold Still, let it drop into Glass bottles, with a lump of White Sugar Candy In each bottle, with the Rind of eight [Civill?] Oranges if you please . Aqua Epicimeca. Take Sago Rosa Solis, Salandine, Rosemary, Mugwort, Pimpernell, Scabus dragon, Argomny, Balm, [Cardoon?], Bittany flowers, and leaves, Mary Gold flowers and leaves, [Centery?] tops, and flowers Formentall, Elicampane Roots, Piony, [Zedionry?], Liquorish, all clean Scrap'd take of those one Ounce and half, of the herbs before named 3 good handfulls, Shread the herbs and Slice the roots, and put them into 3 Gallons of Sack, and let them infuse 3 days, then Still Them in a coldStill, mix it in a broad pan, to your tast Sweeten it with double refin'd Sugar Bottle it.
