Let them stand 10 days, then Stain the liquor through a hair Rainge, and have in [readiness?] 6 pints of the juice of Elder Berries infus'd in a Jugg, in a pott of Water, and when its cold Put it into the Liquor, Stirring it well together, till it be well Mixt, then tun it up in a [vessel?] let it Stand in a warm place 6 weeks at least before you drink it, and it will keep in bottles all the year. Elder Water. Wine. Take a 11 Quarts of water, put it into 10 Pounds of Maligo [raisons?] Pickt and rubbed, not washt, let it stand and infuse 7 days, Then Strain out the Raisons from the water and in the water [5?] pints of the Sirrup of Elder berries that hath been infus'd Stirring it together and put it into a Vessell, Stop it [close?] and Let it Stand 2 Months, in a moderate place not too hot nor too Cold, then bottle it, let it stand 3 weeks before you drink it. Elder Wine Take 4 Gallons of water well boil'd and cold again, then take 20 Pounds of Malago Raisons cut Small, put them into the [water?] Let them Stand 8 days Stirring them every day, then Strain them Through a [Gelly bagg?], and put in 4 Quarts of cleare juice of Elder berries which must be infus'd then tun it up in a vessel and let it Stand 10 weeks, then draw it of into bottles, and Drink it in [8?] weeks or it will keep a yeare.
