26 Bunns To 3 lb of flower take 1 lb of butter when you have rubbed ye butter into the flower make it into a stif Past with somthing less yn a pint of ale yest & as much cream as will wett it lett it rise by ye fire till ye oven be maid hott yn work into it 1 lb of Carraway Comfetts make ym up into little bunns Cutt ym all along ye topp sett ym with seepd into ye oven wch must be hot as for manchett 27 To Make Yorke Cakes Take 2 lb of fine flower & a little salt & 1 lb of butter Rubb it very well amongst yor flower yn put in 1/2 anounce of nutmeggs beat yn put in some good ale yest and a little warm watter in one side of ye bowl, so mix altogether and work it a preety while tell ye past shin, yo must work it Lightly like wigges and preety soft, then mix 1 1/4 lb of Corrance well amongest ye past; So make them up with a little flower as yo can (the less ye better) and Clapp them thiner one ye sides yn ye Middle. The fitest time to bake ym is abt 11 a clock
