To make queen cakes Take half a pound of butter, work it with the back of a spoon till it becomes like cream then add half a pound of flower well drid sifted, half a pound of currants well wash'd and pick'd, six eggs well beat mix all these together and bake them in little pans. half a pound of sugar sifted
