How to paint with white lead, called Nottingham white Let the wainscot be well brushed, & then brush it quite clean in hot water using a painting brush, as soon as it is dry, paint it with lead & turpentine oil, viz: at the rate of 1 lb of lead, to a quart of oil A cure for the felon in cows One ounce of diapente one ounce of anniced one ounce of fenugireek, one ounce of sulpher, one ounce of bay berry's, one ounce of mitheridate, six pennyworth of saffron, one pound of treacle, all mixt together in three pints of ale warmed.
