here it general make a great deal of mud in this clay soil, I have seen about three weeks as pretty weather as I seen any where clear & serene & no snow but I presume that about March they have wet time here. I this morning received a letter from S. R. P. & he is married he says that they have know young [Posey?] yet, his wife is a millerney he say that he is agoing to Phildelphia in the spring to buy good to open a store he also remark that Henerettia his daughter was in N. York, he told me in particular to tell them at home to write him a letter as he has not heard from our folks for two year, now Ellen you sent me two of your magazine now you must not break the volume of your book less you can't get it bound, it is a very interesting magazine I am surprise to see how
