Now mother want to know if the clothing don't get missing when one is down sick, I have never heard of any one losing any yet, here in this ward we have a ward robe divided in boxes & numbered the same as one bed is, & the knapsack is keep in the baggage room. You spoke of having some rough snowweather, I hope by this time the weather is nice with you of late here there has been rain & thunder showers & every thing is push forward in the vegtable line that is the early spring growth. Now Sister I was surprise above measure when I heard that you or rather father had at last rec. a letter from Uncle Lewis Posey, I remember when he left in 1847 when we lived on the Old Francis place about eighteen years ago & yet he says he has not altered much but if you get his photograph you see him as
