Wednesday. April. 28th 1869 Wedsday Eve 27. Today has been very pleasant this morning it looked for rain but it did not. looks a little cloudy this eve but dont think it will rain, Today there was a man here to trait horses. taken dinner. Said it has been a long time since I ate hear last think he was only a joking after dinner heard him ask William abot traiding. he said his tradering horses was out on the prairie. Mother said now Will you better not think of that - the man said. Well now you must not be put down to the opinion of woman in such things. but when Mother said well [bolin?], he is just making fun of you for it is that [ole?] beast that has been runing on the [tabase?] with the [sisi?] [?] O, that one, better let her run for the good she has dine - he was not quite so anxious to traid [?] that he whent up to [Garrins?] fron here. May 3rd 1869. Mond. 3. Today has been very pleasant the air has been hot slight today and the sun shine very warm all day. This morning Mrs. [Wyrbin?] came after some [?] steped after five [butter?] got seven pounds, seen this [flsc?] dont
