May. Gallalte Eve May 20 1868 This week I have been so busy. had Keighan this [illegible] to get all the [illegible[ for us came a Tuesday (Will whent to Ogden after him) stayed till Yesday evening about three o clock then left for McC. he is a funny old fellow, in the afternoon he came here. I came down from the upstairs mother asked him if I look like either of them. No not like eather of you fro is prettier than rather one of you. So whent out to survey but it was very heavy gust. came home late in the morning. Darren & Ellis came again to carrie the chain. came home about sis o'clock Mcc was along all the time. Milton whent down after him to his power fost caught in the trudge & threw him down go this food in the stirrup/shud have said check now. Pete's was over about ten o'clock whent up to see them the last day Friday, and it only taken them till about ten oclock this day before he was over but whent off about ten Oclock it starten to rain about seven oclock rain O it rained so fasht washed out won [illegible} the day before that in the evening is [illegible] evening their was heavy gust came up and it was
