In my opinion, which I know to be shared by the friends of our cause in this county, the present convention ought not to attempt more than a local or district organization, leaving a State organization for a subsequent convention at Des Moines. Meantime, county associations can be organized throughout the State, and the State Convention for full State organization very properly be called under their auspices.
