Philadelphia, Pa., June 4th 1876 My Dear Mrs Ingham, My friend Mrs. M. Joslyn Gage and myself are now fairly established in our Centennial rooms, as above, and fully enlisted in the great work before us - Can you not get the enclosed Statement published in your papers - or the Main points of it - so that all the friends who visit Phila will know where to find us -- Mrs. Stanton is not yet here - but expected every day. Now will not your ladies get up some Mottoes - worked or embroided on small flags - or on canvass - something that can be sent by mail - to represent your Iowa W.S. - Each state ought to send some little banner or flag - with name & motto - I hope you can send some thing - soon as may be -
