1 Charles City, Iowa, Jan. 6th, 1894. Hon. G. N. Hangen; Dear Sir: My wife, Mrs. Julia A. Hildreth, is President of the Political Equality Club of this place, who are seeking the right for women to vote at any and all elections. She wishes I would ask how you stand on that question. Ere long the women from different parts of the State will memorialize the General Assembly on that subject. Will you favor their petitions when they come before the House?
