Clarified Lemonade without [Wine?] Mrs [Edmundston?] Squeeze the juice of six lemons to Seville oranges, then pour one quart of boiling water over the juice, put into annother vesel the peel of three lemons & two oranges cut very thin, & one pound of sugar, pour on them a pint of boiling water & let it stand all night, in the morning mix all these together and strain it through a jelly bag till clear If you cannot get Sivile oranges will do To clarified Lemonade Make you Lemonade Rich and good to three quarts of lemonade put one pint of white wine, then boil a pint & half of milk & pour it on boiling, then run it through a jelly bag till clear, it is better to make your lemonade the day before but not to clear it till the day you want to use it.
