A Gargle Pour half a pint of boiling vinegar & half a pint of boiling water on one table spoonfull of cayenne pepper & a tea spoonfull of salt, let it stand till cold, & then strain it through a coarse cloth. For a Cough A quarter of an oz of minna [clissolird?] in two table spoonsfull of warm water over night. Mix it with two table spoonsfull of milk & take it on first mixing - to be continued for a fortnight.
