Remedy for tooth-ache when it is not connected with rheumatism Alum reduced to an impalpable powder 2 drms nitrous spirit of [alther?] 7 dchms mix & apply them to the tooth 1/4 oz white wax 1/4 oz spermaceti 2 oz oil of almonds 3 oz rose water Melt them together before the fire and beat them up with rose water adding very little at a time if perfume is wanted add it when the cream is made.
