Orange loaves Cut a hole in the top of Seville oranges take out all the pulp and as much of the white as you can with out breaking the rind put them into different boiling water till the bitterness is out and they are quite tender then wipe them dry and take 1 lb of loaf sugar or in proportion to your oranges and boil it in a quart of water skim it clear put your oranges into it and let them boil a little and stand in the syrup a whole day take the yolks of eggs well beaten some naples biscuits some cream
