Devil Swifts House Recipe For 1 kidney -1 tablespoonful of mustard 1 of salt, cayenne + curry powder. Mix them into a paste with salad oil, cover the kidney with it + toast it in a dutch oven before the fire. Fried eggs Put a couple of slices of gruyere cheese (or any cheese of the kind) with [illegible] a small piece of butter in a frying pan, break 2 eggs over it add a little salt + pepper + let the whole remain on a [glutle?] fire till the whites are set + [warme?] Ham Toast (Swifts House Recipe) Grate some ham, put it in a saucepan with a little gravy + cayenne.
