Cure for Mange in Dogs(Ashby) 1/2 pint spirit of turpentine 1/2 pint spirit of tar 1/2 pint seal oil 1/2 pint hair oil 1 oz sulpher All to be lathered up together. This quantity will do a dog twice over. Cough mixture for a recently taken cold Equal parts of spirit of nitre, & tincture of squills mixed together in a bottle of Ipecacuanha wine. 30 drops 3 times a day in a cup of weak liquid Cough mixture 2 drams syrup of Too-loo 2 drams oxymel of squills 2 drams Ipeccacuanha wine 2 oz mucilage of gum.
