"Hair Wash" "[illegible]" March 13th 1/2 oz [illegible] of Cantharides 1 1/2 oz eau de Cologne 3 1/2 oz Rose Water Lotion for the Face Dr G[illegible] Take 1 tablespoonful of [illegible] Powder/Oxide of [illegible] put it in in a Bottle with a wineglassful of filtered rain water. Shake it well and then add a tablespoonful of Glycerine and fill up the half pint Bottle with Rose or Elderflower water. Embrocation for Rheumatism One Quart Spirits of Wine, two ounces of oil of Origanum. two ounces oil of Turpentine two ounces Spirit of Lavender half an ounce Alkanet Root, all these should be well mixed together and rubbed on the parts affected for 20 minutes night and morning and then apply [illegible] flannel -
