In a week great relief may be expected from this Recipe Ditto for Hooping Cough Ward and [Illegible] for rhumatism, sprains or Bruises from Blunt at Shrewsbury 2 oz Hungary Water 1 - oil of Amber to be well rubbed on the back, spine and chest for 10 minutes for 3 successive nights For a Cold on the Chest Rub "Spermacetti Ointment" on the Chest and back at night before the fire for 1/2 hour Mrs. Bidde[illegible]/76 For Diarrhea. 1 teaspoonful Magnesia, Sal Volatile, Paregoric Elixir and Peppermint Water to fill up the bottle and take 2 tablespoonsful for a Dose every 2 hours until pain or diarrhea has ceased (Mrs Beaubridge)
