A Linseed Poultice should be made of crushed Linseed and it should be thrown into the boiling water to make it a light Poultice, not the water poured on the Linseed. For Mange in Dogs 4 oz Sulphur. 1/2 oz Mineral Ammonia - 6 oz Lard. Spirits of Tar 1/2 oz. For Wasp Stings Salt and sweet oil rubbed in. For Chilblains 2 teaspoonsful of Mustard in a Powder in 1/2 Wineglassful of Brandy. Rubbed in. Cracked Heels in Horses 1 oz prepared Chalk. 1/2 oz extract of Goulard 1/2 oz Lard Misced in an ointment
