For growing Gardenias Waldershare Put the Plants early in [illegible] into the early [illegible] and keep a temperature of about 50 during the day and 45 at night till Christmas when it is increased about 10 degrees and raised gradually as the days lengthen. Early in May put the Plants back into the late [illegible] and let in plenty of air during the Summer. The Plants should be [illegible] but watered once a week during the Summer with manure water and every spring give them a good top dressing of rich Soil. No [illegible] heat [illegible] no particular soil but plenty of loam mould and [illegible] and the plants are always kept under the [illegible]
