31 jelly - slice in a lemon - lay the apples and put by for use - they may be done with half pound of sugar - a little water - mace or a stick of cinnamon - to be done slowly Apple Jelly - Boil your apples very soft - strain them - to a pint of the liquor add a pound of loaf sugar and boil til it becomes a jelly
