150 [Medical?] recipes 1804 - Tincture of Steel - Dr. Stewart Take an Ounce and half scales of Iron let them be bruised. 2 drahms of Cinnamon as much Ginger. and a Quart Bottle of 6 [Cydar?] in which all the materials may be infused for 8 days shaking the Bottle frequently. the Tincture to be filtered a tea spoonful taken every day in a Gill of Water - Cure for a Flux - Infuse 30 grams of Ipecacuanha in a Mutchkin of Whiskey shake the Bottle and take a table spoonful morning and evening till relieved - a grain of Opium every night with 5 grains of rhubarb - Mon st - For Cholick in Children with green Scour - Take simple Cinnamon Water peppermint Water and common Syrup each two tablespoonfuls Liquid Laudanum 15 drops - the Dose a teaspoonful every hour or two till the pain abates - Small dozes of Chalk or Crabs eyes or Rhubarb should be given to correct [illegible]
