173 Antimonial Wine - Dissolve 2 grains of Emetic Tartar in one Ounce of White wine (That is two table Spoonfuls - Doze for a Child 15 Drops every two or three hours as may be necessary - water instead of Wine is better - Dr Woods only puts one grain of Emetic Tartar to 1 Ounce of Water - Receipt for a Cough To a Mutchkin Bottle put 3 Tea spoonfuls of Antimonial Wine 2 [illegible] of Laudn 2 Table Spoonful vinigar sweeten with brown Sugar, fill the Bottle up with water and shake it well - take 2 table Spoonfuls at night and 1 in the day if the Cough is troublesome - Mrs Mc[illegible] Scott approved Receipt for a cough by Dr Gregory - Gum assafoetida & ammoniac each two Drams - Squills dry & powdered 2 Scruples Syrup to make up 80 Pills - two a dose taken every forenoon and evening -
