milk add sugar + the eggs well beaten - stir in the yeast + then the flour and the patatae - when stired altogether till quite smooth sit the sponge to rise for 1/2 an hour. Then mark it up with more dry flour to a proper consistency - It may take at least 2 lbs more flour - then let it stand an hour to rise - then make it up into long rolls - bake them for about 20 minutes in a quick oven - let them stand till cold cut them in thin slices and dry them in a moderality black over till brown - Receipt for making veal pie, Bothampton 3 lbs of veal cut in slices with the bones taken out the yolk of 6 eggs boiled hard 6 slices of thin beacon put between the veal, half a Tablespoonfull of Anchovy, pepper, salt + cy-an according to taste. 1 pint of Good gravy put in the bottom of the disk good part, put into a stone oven for hours and a half
