Saving...
What I know about the ancestral tree. The first I know of my Father's people is what I have heard Father and Mother talk of their past. The first was about Fathers grandfather. There where too brothers came over from Germany but I don't know if they were married then or not. Great grandfather kept the German name of Mowrer but his brother taken the English which was pronounced Mason Father said you could see his grave marked by that name in one of the older grave yards, when Father left Penn. I think think Great grand Father's name was Peter as I heard Father and Mother say that was the old family name of the Mowrers, being Grand Father's name and Father's too. Great Grandfather was a farmer, quiet and thrifty and go ahead kind. Peter Mowrer, my grandfather was born in Penn. Feb 28-1761. I don't think there were many in his Father's family
