V. Father sold his share of the home place and bought a larger place in poor condition, they built house and good barns and brought the land to good farming condition, then sold it for a much greater value than when they bought; so they did for about four farms, built large houses & Stables put on orchards and made them in fine condition and would sell them; but the one I can remember about they made & built for their own use, large stone house, had two large barns, one where the old house had stood and I always wanted to go with my brothers to that rambling old Spring house & farm with the cattle looking at one from within and when there was straw from the down some tap door; seeing Brother Milton or Hiram jumping down of course I did too, till there was a stop of going down for some time, so things where with Father, they had things in nice shape for themselves to live all right there
