have about thirty little chicks all very healthy and nice. gess your Mother has large ones. What do you think of Will [Willcocken?] little [ruse?] to get him a wife. to take her from her Pa & Ma, with out their yes. he did not make the wisk very well for he has her trunk, the Father his [anghter?]. well I hope it will end all right for persons conserned Monday Eve [Yhey?] did not go after Mr Newcomer they will tomorrow then I will send this letter for you hope you will get it as soon as I did mine. I was down to see Mrs Flora last week but a few minutes [where?] she can take it quite easy. if she [would?] I dont know if she loves her Father & Mother in law quite to that extent which Children of her age should. Now if she would have caught you she could have a house of her own [write?] [illegible] Mistress to boss her. only a clever Master [to] pleas. you know she whent fishing last winter you and her I think it was.
