Your letter to Nathan came late and he sent off the bill the same day for his lumber. sent it to Boone to some firm there to forward to Chicago But I am very sorry the letter you sent me failed to come. think it must have been like the old lady flying, it did not get the "right flap" in the starting. I will try and see that mine "flys" right. I wish I had some thing wonderful to tell you, but I have not. it is only the "Old Story" can you gess what it is? Yes your heart will answer mine. and then it becomes wonderful new and sweet the story ever new. whenever told I love you. As a read a piece of poetry the other evening in all things there is an end but to love there is no end I thought how true. it was it should help us to look forward to the blessed time
